Potosi High School Bulletin for Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Potosi High School Football Cheerleading Clinics will be held on March 9 and 10 in the round gym at the high school from 3:30 to 4:30. Tryouts will be held the following day on March 11 in the square gym from 3:15 until last tryout. Anyone interested in trying out will need to have a current year physical on file and a cheerleading application filled out and turn in by March 8. Students interested can get an application from the middle school or high school office. For additional questions contact Mrs. Portell in room 26a.


Golden Spirit Pommies- The Golden Spirit Pommies will be holding a try-out camp for the 2010-2011 season on Monday, March 15, Tuesday, March 16 and Wednesday, March 17 in the High School gym. Tryout packets are in the office. Pick one up if you're interested. Please don't wait until the last minute because teacher referrals are required, as well as a current physical.


Senior parent yearbook ads are due by March 15.


BOOK CLUB- THE BOOK CLUB WILL MEET ON MARCH 11, IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL IN THE LIBRARY. PLEASE PAY FOR YOUR BOOK : THE CITY IN THE LAKE($6)BEFORE THIS DATE.


HELP CLUB- There will be a HELP Club meeting on Tuesday, March 16 at 3:05 p.m. in Mrs. Nixon's room. We will make the final decision on the end of the year trip. Remember you must have seven activites and 93% attendance to be eligible to articipate.


FBLA will have a meeting on Wednesday, March 10, to discuss spring trip. Members can attend at 7:40 a.m. or after school in Mrs. Edgar's room.


Attention Bible Club members- We will begin our candy sales on Monday, March 15th. We are having a meeting at 3:05 on Thursday, March 11 to distribute candy. All members are required to attend and pick up candy. If you cannot attend this meeting you must stop by Mrs. Campbell's classroom before school on Friday to get your candy.


Students are reminded to follow the dress code.


Seniors- the Mid-Missouri Off-Roaders 2010 Scholarship Application is now available in the counseling office. The scholarship is awarded based on need and scholastic ability. Must be postmarked no later than April 15th, 2010.


Lunch Menu- hamburger on a bun, ketchup packets, mustard, French fries, tossed salad, Ranch dressing, chocolate pudding, apples and milk or turkey and cheese sandwich


Juniors- Monday, March 22, you will have the opportunity to take a practice ACT. The test will be given at the Family Life Center, and lunch will be provided. Junior English teachers will distribute permission slips. Permission slips are due Thursday, March 18. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Kay in room 215.


Ala Carte Menu- turkey and cheese, roast beef and cheese, pepperoni pizza bread, chicken strips and salad
